Personal training sessions can incorporate cardiovascular fitness, muscle strength and endurance, flexibility and balance/core training. Meet Our Trainers:
Our certified personal trainers are committed to helping you achieve your personal goals in health. We understand your needs are unique and that a “one size fits all” program will not work for you.
Janice Wielenga: Janice is a resident of Sheldon and has been part of the community for the past 24 years. She has worked at Sheldon Hospital in the Rehab Department and the Wellness Center since 2004 and gained extensive knowledge and experience from this work. Janice is a Certified Personal Trainer and has been teaching group fitness classes for the last few years. Through continued education, Janice has been certified in multiple areas including: Total Body, Boot Camp, Pilates, High Intensity Interval Training, Kid Fitness, and many others.
Josh Nollmeyer: Josh grew up with a passion for sports, and this introduced him to a passion for exercise. He played basketball, baseball, and football through high school, with these sports got involved with resistance training. After his high school, career he attended Dordt College where he continued his sports career playing Football as well as receiving a degree in Exercise Science – he graduated from Dordt in December 2012. During his time with Dordt Athletics he had 4 years of constant weight-lifting, aerobic, and plyometric training. He worked with multiple sports teams at Dordt College in their lifting programs. Josh also spent a summer working with the University of South Alabama's track program and football program during their summer weight training programs. Josh is a member of the National Strength and Conditioning Association and has a great knowledge of resistance training.
Alex Price: Alex is a personal trainer and group fitness instructor at the LLRC. She is a graduate of Northwestern College with an Exercise Science degree and a specialization in Strength and Conditioning. Alex is a certified ACSM Health Fitness Specialist. She played softball at Northwestern and has been involved in athletics and physical fitness all her life. When she’s not participating in sports or training, she loves to go out on the lake and fish for largemouth bass.
Megan Dieken: Megan is from Logan where she graduated from Logan-Magnolia High School in 2010, playing volleyball, basketball and running track all throughout high school. She decided to continue her volleyball career at University of Nebraska Omaha and then transferred to Northwestern College after her freshman year where she graduated with a degree in Exercise Science in May of 2014. During her volleyball career at Northwestern she experienced several injuries including an ACL tear which has caused her to become learned in the areas of functionality and mobility in addition to strength and cardio. She has had considerable experience with the TRX Suspension Training system and Trigger Point Therapy while working at a gym in West Des Moines. She is certified personal training through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. Megan and her husband reside in Sheldon.
Jim Schueller: Jim has eight years of fitness coaching experience ranging from personal training and small-group classes to working as a Strength and Conditioning coach at an NCAA DIII College. Jim is originally from Primghar and attended South O'Brien High School before attending Grinnell College where he captained both the football and baseball teams while continuing to coach baseball during the summer. After becoming a certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength Coaches Association, Jim worked with a variety of clients in the Los Angeles area and specializes in athletic performance, fat-loss, functional movements, and corrective exercises. His clientele has ranged from farmers to movie producers and actors, and he is excited to be back in NW Iowa and creating custom individual and group-based training programs for anyone driven towards a healthier body, mind, and lifestyle.

Having your body composition tested is a great way to see where you’re starting, gauge your workout progress, and see results beyond the scale. Our body composition will tell you how much body fat you have, how much lean mass you have, and give you a great measurement tool to track your fitness journey. By appointment only.
