A look into the life of Teddy Roosevelt our 26th President. Politician, environmentalist, soldier, adventurer, boxer—the list of who Roosevelt was goes on and on. Or, maybe you have an email account, but are unsure of how to manage it. In this class, you will start a Gmail account and then learn tips of organizing and managing the emails that you will send and receive, how to attach documents and pictures and how to open and save the attachments you receive. Tips and tricks for searching the internet will also be shared. You should bring your laptop computer to class if you have one. Computers will be furnished for those not having a laptop computer. Please indicate your computer needs when you register. 56960 | 1 Session Instructor: Twyla Vogel, MBA Tuesday, Nov. 7 | 2–4PM Location: Sutherland Library | Fee: $19 Country School Preservation Conference: Why It Matters Each year, Preservation Iowa sponsors an annual Iowa country school conference featuring speakers from across the state. This year the conference will be held in Northwest Iowa! Everyone will meet at Northwest Iowa Community College on Friday, October 6 for several educational sessions and wrap up the day with visiting the Prairie Arts Historical Park in Sheldon, then a pizza buffet and tour of the Sheldon Prairie Museum. On Saturday, tours will continue to Marcus, Cherokee and Washta. This is a perfect venue for networking with other country school enthusiasts.
