Alternative Spring Break is a student organization that focuses on providing students with a volunteering spring break experience. For the past few years, we have partnered with Habitat for Humanity Collegiate Challenge to build houses as part of a hand up for those in need. We have traveled to Florida and New Mexico and worked on four houses! We try to find a different location each year so students get to experience a different part of the country and go places they may not have otherwise gone! Students fundraise during the year to lower the cost out of pocket. In the past we have had Pizza Ranch Tip Nights, bake sales, concession stands, rootbeer float sales, etc. If you are interested in participating, feel free to contact Nicole in Student Services for more information.
