The NCC Cafeteria is located in Building A, just down the hallway from the front desk. Our cafeteria provides a wide variety of short order items, main entrées, desserts, beverages and salads for students, visitors and staff of Northwest Iowa Community College. Our hours are 7:30 am -1:00 pm Monday–Friday.
Recently the NCC Wellness Committee has partnered with the Hy-Vee Cafeteria staff and the NCC Administration to increase our healthy breakfast and lunch options. We are pleased to offer a fantastic salad bar daily, wellness-themed meals like our recurring “Wellness Wednesdays,” and many other delicious and nutritious selections. The favorite standbys are still there, but now there us more variety, and truly something for every palate!
We provide several different meal plan options.
The meal plan for the Fall of 2013 and Spring 2014 is as follows:
- Breakfast Meal Plan.......................$235 per semester
- Lunch Meal Plan.............................$430 per semester
- Combined Breakfast & Noon...........$665 per semester
The Breakfast Meal Plan includes a 3 item breakfast from our breakfast buffet and your choice of beverage, or a breakfast sandwich, one side breakfast item and beverage.
The Noon Meal Plan includes your choice of the noon daily special and your choice of beverages, or a main entrée item from the menu board and one side dish and beverage.
These plans represent considerable savings on your lunch cost, but must be used each day and cannot be transferred or saved for someone else to use. Please check with your instructor if the classes you will be taking allow you to be on campus to use the meal plan every day. We can prorate the meal plans if you do not have class everyday, but we need to know that before you buy the meal plan. We will not refund anything after 3 weeks from the start of the school year.
All food and beverages served on the NCC campus are provided by Hy-Vee. If you are using NCC facilities for an event and would like to have it catered, please contact the Sheldon Hy-Vee at 712-324-2516.
