This class will cover many aspects of artistic and functional photography. It will start with an overview of the differences between the use of film and digital photographic materials. The class will then examine the basic tools of photography; cameras and lenses. Students can learn to determine which combinations of camera gear best fits their needs, based on current needs and the photgraphic growth of each individual. You then enter the realm of the essential camera functions that are used to create an artistic and personal finished product. Other topics covered will be photographic composition in a traditional artistic sense and the study of how color is used to create an artistic statement. 3 Session(s). Instructor: Mike Davis.
